Position Identification

Job Function: Marketing & Brand Communications

Report to:  General Manager, Marketing Strategy

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for assisting the development and support of public relations, digital marketing and experiential efforts. Works in assisting to promote company brand internally and externally

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist Hankook's Public Relation & Social Media manager and outside agencies to execute annual social media activity plan for company’s social media accounts.
  • Assist in administration of Hankook's Social Media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube).
  • Create, manage and implement content for monthly social media content calendar posts, updates and tweets.
  • Monitor social media channels on a daily basis, respond to channel users (Fans, Followers) and upload content in a timely manner.
  • Report social media findings and metrics to management in relation to previously set goals.
  • Onsite social media content creation at experiential events (Photo uploading/tweeting, posting, etc...)
  • Clipping and scanning of monthly print media coverage
  • Assist in the planning, manage and activation of multiple experiential brand events including, but not limited to: Trade Shows, Driving events, Company functions (i.e Motorsports events)
  • Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required
  • 1-3 years of experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • At least 1 year of professional experience
  • Experience with social media platform administration including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Hoot Suite
  • Have excellent analytic and excel skills
  • Are comfortable with travel if needed.
  • Are open to different styles of working (i.e. formal, metrics driven, ultra-traditional)
  • Detailed oriented to take care of reporting and record keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
