Position Identification

  • Report to - OE SCM Unit Manager

Job Purpose

  • Plan, organize and control the inventory of assigned Stock Keeping Units (SKU) to insure each has the appropriate stock level at each DC.
  • Work with Global HQ and the Detroit office to insure incoming order volumes are adequate to
    fulfil any fluctuations in the customer’s forecast and/or plan.
  • Prepare analyst for inventory management of assigned SKUs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plans, organizes and controls the assigned range of SKUs to meet all targets for inventory performance
  • Generate Weekly/Monthly forecasts from Car Maker’s EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) releases
  • Assist OE SCM Unit Manager with supervising OE Team
  • Analyze stock status on a weekly basis
  • Audit and monitor customer’s order release data to insure orders will be filled on time for all OE business partners
  • Works with all DCs to insure inventory is accurate and reports out-of-line issues to OE Team Manager
  • Complete all tasks and assignments as directed by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or supply chain perferred, or equivelate experience
  • At lease 3 to 5 years experiense in supply chain management, concentration in Logistics preferred
  • Advanced level of proficency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook required
  • Familiarity with ERP System(SAP), Warehouse Management System(WMS) preferred
  • Bi-lingual Korean a plus
  • 10% business travel required
