Job Purpose

The Credit Analyst at Hankook Tire is an individual contributor, typically assigned to a geographic area or product line that focuses on processing and evaluating credits, and/or collections of customer accounts. The ideal individual will have exceptional communication skills as they will commonly coordinate with Hankook’s sales team and/or business customers. This person will also have strong mathematical skills and experience in accounting.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assess and make decisions about customer credit applications using a range of criteria including purpose of application, credit viability, and customer payment history. 
  • Read and interpret financial statements.
  • Make credit decisions within assigned authority limits.
  • Working with credit reporting agencies.
  • Interface with sales staff on credit decision.
  • Manage relationships with credit insurance and factors.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal & written communication & good customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, financing, business or related field preferred
  • 3-10 years of experience hands on credit review procedures 
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Must have strong MS-Excel experience
