Position Identification

Job Title:  Corporate Account Manager - Commercial Sales

Function:  Sales

Reports to:  Director of Corporate Accounts/Vice President - TBR Sales

Job Purpose

The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for the specialized development of new business and long term growth with regional and National strategic accounts consisting of Mega Fleets, Truck Stops, National Buying Groups, Dealers with multi-regional footprint, selected OEM accounts.  This individual is responsible for identifying and selling to prospects while maintaining relationships with clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build business with key assigned accounts within the USA through the development of sales programs, RFP quotes, contracts, and sales promotions.
  • Key liaison with respective dealer, truck stop, mega fleet to ensure all operational items are documented and tracked to include, inventory supply, demand planning/forecasting, regular reporting to ensure tracking towards goals, ensure are documentation/billing is accurate to ensure timely and accurate payments.  Problem solving of any issue brought up by assigned accounts.
  • Partner with Commercial Tire Managers and Region Directors in the growth objectives of assigned key customers, such as Truck Stop, Large Commercial Dealers, with footprint in multiple regions and growth of large fleets
  • Responsible for delivering the Hankook Tire message to key accounts through customer meetings, new product introduction/training, customer events, sales promotions, and trade shows.
  • Create business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry by researching and analyzing sales opportunities
  • Sell products and services by establishing and developing relationships with prospects by recommending tire purchase solutions
  • Maintain relationships with key customers by providing support, information, and guidance, research and recommend new opportunities, recommend profit and service improvements, resolve sales or service disputes involving fleets, dealers, and Hankook Tire.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepare relevant reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing competitive market information.
  • Maintain quality of service by recommending and enforcing established organizational standards.
  • Reports to the Vice President Commercial Division
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership

  • Proficient in: Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Aftermarket sales on a National Basis, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Contract Negotiation, Emphasizing Operational Excellence, High Energy Level, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning, Independence, and Motivation for Sales.
  • Highl level of attention to detail and swift comprehensive follow-up

 

Qualifications

  • Four year College Degree (BA/BS) and five years of sales experience
  • Prior experience as an Account manager, Territory manager, or equivalent
  • Tire Industry experience is required
  • Ideal candidate will reside in the Nashville Metro Area and work out of Hankook American's HQ
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time to work with assigned accounts, if working remote 75% travel including travel to Hankook's NA HQ in Nashville.
